The release of the new Audi A6 C6 model was unveiled in 2004 with upgraded aesthetics, entertainment unit, suspension and a new fuel stratified engine. A C6 facelift model was released in 2008 with a more modern design which included changes to the lights and the addition of daytime running lights and a new variety of engines.
