Volkswagen Tiguan
In 2007 Volkswagen added The Tiguan to its compact crossover vehicle range. Named after German words for Tiger & Iguana, first-generation Tiguans used transverse mounted 4 cylinder engines and by 2011 Volkswagen had sold over 700,000 vehicles world wide. The Tiguan kept it’s same looks until 2011 when it then underwent a facelift adding newer looking headlights, grille, tail lights as well as having it’s performance-enhanced, adding new trim and a steering wheel.

Volkswagen Tiguan
The second generation Volkswagen Tiguan was released in late 2015. Hitting Australian shores in 2017. The first of the second-generation Tiguan comes with a DSG automatic transmission and a 1.4 Litre turbo charged petrol engine as part of the Trendline range. Next up in the mid range is the Comfortline with a 2.0 Litre Petrol or Diesel engine complemented by the 4 Motion 4WD and a DSG transmission. Lastly, the top of the range is the Highline DSG 4motion with a higher-powered 162TSI 2.0-litre petrol or 140TDI diesel engines.Â
