The second generation Mercedes-Benz was released with four versions of the diesel engine. 109CDI, 111CDI, 115CDI and the 120CDI, although Australia only got the 109CDI and 115CDI. Australia also got the 119P 3.2 Litre Petrol V6 Engine. They are Euro 3 compliant prior to the Euro 4 Regulations being published in November 2006.

The W447 is the third generation of the “V-Class”. Vito nameplate stayed but the Viano was replaced with Valente. They also brought back Front Wheel Drive versions, but with only one engine. The 111CDI 1.6 Litre Turbo Diesel engine; an engine made by Renault.
